There is no unsolicited advice and very little lecturing in this workshop
on father involvement. Instead, Jeremy Adam Smith will lead couples
through a process whose goal is to help them to develop a common story to
tell themselves about fatherhood and what a good father does. We'll also
explore how new fathers and mothers can equally share in the joys and
burdens of parenthood, and discuss why more and more families are deciding
dad should be the one to serve as primary caregiver. Individual dads are
welcome to attend (especially with another father friend), but the
workshop is designed for couples. Co-sponsored by the the Bay Area
Homebirth Collective.
