Pelvic Pain and Incontinence
Prenatal and postpartum incontinence and painful intercourse are common
conditions. In this class we will provide an overview of pelvic pain and
incontinence, why these conditions develop and what you can do about them,
including available treatment options that are offered by physical
therapists.
About the Instructors
Amy Selinger, DPT, OCS has been a Physical Therapist for 25
years. She has specialized in the treatment of musculoskeletal pain
syndromes for the past 21 years. Amy is a board certified Orthopedic
Clinical Specialist (OCS) who has taught Graduate, and Post-graduate
physical therapy courses. Her treatment focus is on back, hip and
pelvic pain and incontinence.
Jennifer Jackson, PT, DPT has been practicing physical therapy
since 2006 after attending physical therapy school at University of
California, San Francisco. Jennifer has been trained extensively in
Australian manual therapy treatment techniques and enjoys treating
patients with spinal disorders, pelvic pain/incontinence, and athletic
injuries.
